Mr Cameron Francis

Mr Cameron Francis is a Social Worker with a 20-year track record in the field of youth alcohol and other drugs including leading peer education initiatives at music events and festivals, needle and syringe program work, individual counselling along with training and secondary consultation for complex youth alcohol and other drug presentations. He currently serves as the CEO of The Loop Australia, dedicated to the development of sustainable and high quality drug checking and harm reduction services for Australians. He was formerly Principal Consultant at Dovetail, an initiative of Queensland Health that provides the youth alcohol and other drug sector with information, resources, tools and examples of good practice. He served as a member of the NCYSUR Scientific Advisory Board from 2017 to 2024. Mr Francis can be contacted here.
